PENGELOLAAN ARSIP KONVENSIONAL DI PERPUSTAKAAN SMA YPI TUNAS BANGSA PALEMBANG Yasir, Abdurrahman Triyani, Amy Alvrida, Choirunnisyah Juniarisma, Ferda Fitri, Gita Kholid, Rozali arsip arisip konvensional temu kembali penyimpanan penyusutan Sistem penyimpanan Arsip di SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang ini menerapkan sistem sentralisasi, sesuai dengan namanya kata “sentral”, yaitu titik paling terpusat. Dapat dikatakan bahwa arsip di SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan suatu arsip konvensionalnya terpusat, yakni di Perpustakaan Sekolah, berdasarkan hasil dari observasi yang telah dilakukan secara bersama-sama melalui metode wawancara langsung kepada pihak kepala perpustakaan tersebut. Dari hasil yang didapatkan, bahwa pengelolaan arsipnya dengan cara menyimpannya di filling cabinet dan di rak-rak. Untuk temu kembali masih dengan cara manual, yakni mencari satu per satu arsip yang disimpan. Dan pemusnahannya dengan cara dibakar setalah dilakukan penyeleksian. EVALUASI SOFTWARE SLiMS DALAM PENGOLAHAN BAHAN PUSTAKA DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH BENGKULU Anggun, Dwi Purwaka, Drs Samosir, Fransiska Timoria SLiMS Software Automasi Perpustakaan Minimnya SDM serta sarana dan prasarana di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu menyebabkan banyaknya kesalahan yang terjadi dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka baik disengaja maupun tidak disengaja. Kesalahan tersebut berdampak pada kinerja dan kegiatan operasional perpustakaan yang mengakibatkan kerugian baik secara material maupun tenaga dan waktu. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem otomasi software SLiMS dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana evaluasi software SLiMS dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 7 orang. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi di lapangan.Hasil penelitian pada indikator eksternal variable diketahui bahwa SLiMS bermanfaat dan memudahkan dalam kegiatan perpustakaan. Pada indikator perceived ease of use diketahui SLiMS mudah dalam penggunaan dan pengoperasiannya. Indikator perceived usefulness diketahui SLiMS memudahkan pustakawan dalam pengolahan bahan pustaka membantu dalam menemukan informasi, membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan dengan cepat, meningkatkan kinerja pustakawan. Pada indikator Behavioral intention diketahui SLiMS membantu kegiatan pengolahan bahan pustaka dengan baik dan efisien. Berdasarkan indikator Actual system use diketahui bahwa penggunaan SLiMS di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu sudah efektif. PELESTARIAN DOKUMEN NUMISMATIK (UANG KUNO) PADA MUSEUM BENTENG VREDEBURG YOGYAKARTA Erlianti, Gustina Dokumen numismatik pelestarian uang kertas uang logam Dokumen numismatik merupakan dokumen yang mempunyai nilai tukar seperti mata uang, koin, token, medali, obligasi, saham dan yang paling populer di antara jenis tersebut adalah uang kuno (kertas maupun koin). Salah satu lembaga informasi yang berkewajiban menjaga dan memelihara dokumen numismatik di Yogyakarta adalah Museum Benteng Vrededurg. Pelestarian dokumen pada museum ini  dilakukan secara preventif dan kuratif. Pelestarian secara preventif dilakukan sebelum dokumen itu rusak dengan pengaturan suhu, pengecekan ruangan setiap dua kali sehari serta penambahan silika gel pada pojok-pojok lemari. Perawatan jenis ini lebih ditekankan pada uang kertas karna perawatannya cukup dengan suhu yang stabil. Adapun pelestarian kuratif dilakukan pada dokumen yang sudah rusak dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan tertentu misalnya pada uang logam yang harus dilapisi pernis dan diolesi minyak zaitun pada permukaannya. EVALUASI KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL PUSTAKAWAN DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN UNILAK Sari, Pardila Ika H, Rosman Sudiar, Nining keterampilan sosial pustakawan perpustakaan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevalusi keterampilan sosial pustakawan di UPT Perpustakaan Unilak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan sampling incidental yang diambil dari 2501 populasi dan 96 sampel orang, dan 4 orang pustakawan. Terdiri dari mahasiswa dan pustakawan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, studi pustaka, studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa Keterampilan Sosial Pustakawan di UPT Perpustakaan Unilak sudah memiliki keterampilan sosial yang cukup baik. Dapat dilihat dari jumlah responden (73,96%) mengatakan Kemampuan Berkomunikasi secara positif dan aktif sudah baik. Responden (59,17%) mengatakan kemampuan seorang pustakawan dalam memahami kebutuhan pemustaka sudah ada. Dan pustakawan di UPT Perpustakaan Unilak sudah bisa bekerjasama dengan tim kerja, bekerjasama dengan penulis/penerbit, pustakawan bisa mencari link untuk bekerjasama dengan perpustakaan lainnya. Jumlah responden (66,84%) mengatakan bahwa pustakawan sudah memiliki pengetahuan, pemahaman mengenai keanekaragaman budaya. MENDESAIN PROSEDUR STANDAR PENGELOLAAN ARSIP KELEMBAGAAN: Studi Kasus di Perpustakaan Universitas Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta Rahayuningsih, Fransisca Hastutiningrum, MM arsip pustakawan prosedur standar arsip dinamis sistem temu kembali informasi Mutu sebuah lembaga salah satunya ditentukan oleh pengelolaan arsip yang baik. Arsip adalah rekaman kegiatan atau peristiwa dalam berbagai bentuk dan media sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang dibuat dan diterima oleh lembaga negara, pemerintah daerah, lembaga pendidikan, perusahaan, organisasi politik, organisasi kemasyarakatan, dan perseorangan dalam pelaksanaan kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara. Arsip yang tertata dengan baik, dapat sebagai memori kolektif sebuah lembaga dan bahkan dapat menjadi basis pengetahuan tentang identitas lembaga selain pertumbuhan dan perkembangan lembaga dapat diketahui secara pasti. Pustakawan adalah profesi yang dianggap mampu melakukan pengelolaan arsip mengingat ilmu perpustakaan dan ilmu kearsipan memiliki rumpun yang sama., selain adanya keterbatasan tenaga yang dimiliki sebuah lembaga. Dalam pengelolaan arsip kelembagaan didasarkan pada 4 pilar pengelolaan arsip, yaitu Pedoman Tata Naskah Dinas, Pedoman Pola Klasifikasi Arsip, Pedoman Jadwal Retensi Arsip dan Pedoman Keamanan dan Akses Arsip. Selanjutnya pustakawan dapat mendesain prosedur standar pengelolaan arsip dinamis, mendesain prosedur standar pengelolaan arsip statis dalam rangka akuisisi/pemindahan arsip statis. Metodologi berbasis studi literature yang berkaitan dengan teknologi informasi selanjutnya digunaan untuk menjelaskan implikasi dan dampaknya bagi perpustakaan, pustakawan dan pemustakan. Pelaksanaan Penyimpanan Arsip di Bagian Kasubag Kepegawaian Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Barat Akmal, Honesty Rahmah, Elva Desentralisasi Arsip Penyimpanan Arsip merupakan rekam kegiatan atau dokumen- dokumen yang diciptakan oleh lembaga setiap harinya yang disimpan memiliki nilai guna yang sewaku- waktu dapat ditemu kembali. Dalam proses pelaksanaan penyimpanan arsip, memerlukan sitem penyimpanaan arsip yang ditetapkan agar dokumen yang diarsipkan dapat tertata,dan mudah dicari jika dibutuhkan, sistem yang digunakan yaitu sistem subjek dimana penyimpanan berdasarkan isi dokumen, sitem tanggal, dimana dokumen di urutkan berdasarkan tanggal dokumen itu diciptakan dan sistem geografis atau wilaya, dimana penyimpanan disusun berdasar daerah dokumen itu berasal atau dituju. Perlatan dan perlengkapan yang memadai, menunjang proses pengarsipan, kegiatan ini pun tidak luput dari sumber daya manusia yang dapat mengoperasikan peralatan dan perlengkapan dengan baik. This research aims to explain the culture of literacy in Mbah Dul boarding school as a form of readiness of students to face life in the community later. (Method) The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data is obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis is done through data reduction process, data presentation, and draw conclusion. The validity of the data by triangulation. Tren Topik Pemberitaan Pasca Pemilihan Presiden pada Portal Berita Online Ningtias, Puspita Sudiar, Nining Latiar, Hadira Mass media, News, Topic Trends Presidential The purpose of this research is to find out, explain, and analyze the trends of the Post Presidential Election news topics on the online news portal Detik.com and Tribunnews.com 2019. This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The results of research from 2 online news portals during the post-presidential election, 17 April to 22 May namely the detik.com portal issued the most number of Prabowo-Sandi news as many as 652 news, while the Jokowi-Amin pair 586 news. Tribunnews.com portal issued the most topics on the Jokowi-Amin couple as many as 537, while the Prabowo-Sandi couple had 536 news. Indicators of topic trends are the direction of the portal detik.com Jokowi-Amin news portal with positive news direction 63 or (10.75%), negative news direction 16 or (2.73%), and neutral news direction 507 or (86.52% ). In the Prabowo-Sandi pair who share positive news 67 or (10.28%), then the direction of negative news 47 or (7.21%), while the neutral news direction is 538 or (82.52%). Meanwhile, the online news portal Tribunnews.com released the news of the Jokowi-Amin pair in the direction of positive news 54 or (10.06%), negative news direction 27 or (5.03%), and neutral news direction 537 or (84.92%). Efektivitas Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis dalam Pengelolaan Arsip Dinamis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Pekanbaru Mailanda, Nera Sudiar, Nining Hakim, Triono Dul Dynamic Filing Information System Effectiveness The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of SIKD in managing archives in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method, with data collection done through observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature study. The questionnaire was distributed to the archive manager with a research sample of 6 people. The results of this study indicate that the average score is 3.35, based on preparations using the Likert scale at intervals of 3.26 - 4.00, that the archive manager is very positive and effective using SIKD in managing the archives at the Department of Library and Archives of Pekanbaru City . And the obstacle faced by managers in using SIKD is one of the network problems, where in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service the network is sometimes unstable. The role of literature, of course, cannot be explained by physical evidence because literature talks about the soul, the spirit, and something related to one's mind. However, if disseminated to the public, literary works can produce future generations who are more competent, critical, creative, and most importantly, have a conscience. Literature plays a role in shaping the character of a nation. This study aims to determine how the literature books in the 6 FPPTI-DIY member libraries are used by users. This research is also intended to determine whether the use of literary books has an effect on character education? In addition, this research is also intended to provide recommendations in order to optimize the use of literary books through digitization and e-service. The research design was designed using mixed methods. The strategy used in this research is sequential explanatory strategy. The population in this study were library visitors of FPPTI DIY members from 6 universities with 617,539 literature study programs. Sampling was done by using the stratified sampling technique. Qualitative data collection was determined by looking at gender and literature reading preferences. There were 4 people assigned from each library, consisting of 2 male visitors who like to read and 2 female visitors who don't like to read, as many as 24 informants. Data analysis was performed using SPSS for Windows version 21. The results of this study prove that the use of literary books in 6 FPPTI-DIY member libraries, those literary books are used by users when there are lectures related to literature. This was conveyed by respondents with a frequency of coming 1-2 times a week and a frequency of utilizing literary collections twice a week. Through the results of quantitative analysis by testing the hypothesis of this study proves that the quality, quantity, and visibility of books have an effect on optimizing the use of literary books through digitization and e-service on character building. The role of 6 FPPTI-DIY member libraries in optimizing the use of literary books, which is related to the importance of reading literature through digitizing literary collections and e-service is considered good enough and overcomes the limitations of book availability. Upaya pengembangan Koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat Mauliza, Dita Nelisa, Malta Koleksi; Minangkabau; pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kebutuhan informasi pemustaka terhadap koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat, (2) kebijakan pengembangan koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat, (3) seleksi koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat, (4) pengadaan koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Perpustakaan Dearah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah koleksi muatan Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pertama, kebutuhan informasi koleksi Minangkabau tidak dilakukan oleh pustakawan, upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu melakukan observasi pada pemustaka yang berkunjung. Pemustaka  membutuhkan koleksi karya ilmiah. Kedua, kebijakan pengembangan koleksi Minangkabau dalam unsur kebijakan umum yaitu cakupan wilayah pemustaka yang dilayani tidak dibatasi dan penambahan koleksi Minangkabau tidak dibatasi. Dalam unsur rincian koleksi yaitu koleksi jurnal Minangkabau, upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah pustakawan melakukan observasi ke pemustaka yang berkunjung untuk mengetahui bidang subjek koleksi yang dibutuhkan oleh pemustaka. Ketiga, seleksi koleksi Minangkabau tidak berjalan dengan baik, upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh pustakawan adalah melakukan seleksi dan identifikasi dengan menggunakan alat seperti bibliografi, melakukan verifikasi terhadap data koleksi yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan dan membuat laporan hasil seleksi. Keempat, pengadaan koleksi Minangkabau di Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat memiliki beberapa sistem yaitu hunting, hadiah, hibah, penggandaan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan pembelian pada koleksi Minangkabau, agar koleksi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemustaka. This paper reports the results and process of creating a tourism application called "Wonderful of Minangkabau". The research method used is descriptive research. The purpose of this research is to look at innovations in college libraries in providing services to academicians due to covid-19. Digital libraries exist as an innovation in overcoming the problems of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods, researchers conducted online interviews by sending emails to the email library. The data were obtained by interviewing the librarian of the college library. Innovations made in libraries involve human resources, library collections, and services. Increasing human resources in the library by providing training on deficiencies in terms of services, turnover of librarians aims to provide officers with new experiences. Library collections experience sharing of resources where collaboration between libraries aims to fill the void in library collections in the library. Internship in libraries can be a movement in terms of library development, where the internship is a place to accommodate young people who are rich in creative ideas and incoming invoices that make libraries more colorful. Inovasi Layanan Jemput Bola di Taman Baca Masyarakat Teras Baca Sekar Kinasih Sidareja Rahayuningsih, Ferina Endang Sukaesih, Sukaesih Rohman, Asep Saeful Rukmana, Evi Nursanti Read Innovation Community Reading Garden Society The research carried out has the aim of analyzing, describing and knowing the innovative activities carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic at TBM Teras Baca Sekar Kinasih Sidareja. The approach used is a qualitative approach with data collection carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data source used interviews with the managers of the reading terrace nowadays. Secondary data sources come from documents related to research. The research data were analyzed using the analysis of the interaction model of Milles and Huberman which originated from four activities, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that the reading terrace was very busy before the Covid-19 pandemic was very crowded with visitors or visitors who came to the reading terrace to borrow books, study computers, and read books on the reading terrace. Readers and the general public who visit the terrace read now. The books that are borrowed and read are books that suit their wants and needs, such as story books, novels, magazines, and business reference books. Visitors and people who visit read the book because they are interested and need information from the book and to gain insight and knowledge. Visitors and the general public who visit can take advantage of and use the facilities provided by the reading terrace TBM now. The facilities provided are various, Wi-Fi, computers, books, a comfortable reading place, etc. to support their fulfillment of information. However, since the covid-19 pandemic, TBM Teras Baca Sekar Kinasih has issued an innovative Football Pick-up Service. This service makes it easy for readers and the general public to meet their information needs without having to visit for some time because of this pandemic, namely the reading terrace staff will provide book lending services by delivering them to visitors by first contacting what books are needed and will be in between. to visitors by the staff of the Teras Baca Sekar Kinasih. Then, with this innovation, the service becomes effective and continues to run even though there has been a decrease in visits and reading interest of readers and the general public as usual. However, this does not become a barrier in carrying out this reading core innovation and remains a practical and efficient innovation. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of library services in the Omah Buku Reading Park before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and the innovations made in dealing with it. This research is a research that uses a descriptive qualitative research method, where data collection is carried out by means of observation and interviews. Interviews were conducted with two participants, namely between the researcher and the owner and chairman of the Omah Buku Community Reading Park. The data that has been obtained from observation and interview activities are then processed and analyzed using data analysis techniques by exploring real life, contemporary limited systems or cases or various limited systems or various cases, with detailed and in-depth data collection techniques involving multiple sources of information. as well as reporting case descriptions and research case themes to help facilitate the process of interpretation of how innovative activities during the Covid-19 pandemic at TBM Omah Buku are interpreted and linked to existing theories. Based on the data that has been collected and processed, this study shows that there is a significant difference in service aspects between the time before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The difference in this aspect of service then becomes the cause of the emergence of innovation and actions such as running activities while adhering to health protocols, limiting the number of visitors, delivery of library material collections by volunteers to several points in the surrounding community. This innovation is expected to attract people's attitudes to pay attention to the importance of reading gardens in the community. In this study, the approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are collected through interviews and literature studies. The results of this study show that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program at Al-Ghifari Plus High School is sufficient to achieve program success with the participation of students. In this program, although in general, not all students take part in this activity because it is not required, the obstacles faced in implementing the Reading Challenge program at Al-Ghifari High School are students having difficulties in describing it in a fishbone diagram because of the large number of school subject assignments. VANDALISME KOLEKSI DI PERPUSTAKAAN SMA NEGERI 8 PEKANBARU Kinanti, Citra Ayu Rosman, Rosman Rismayeti, Rismayeti Collection High School Library Vandalism This study aims to determine how the collection vandalism acts that occur in the library of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The research sample was 99 books. The results showed that vandalism to cross certain pages was the most prevalent vandalism, amounting to 38.26%. Then the page folding vandalism was 26.95%. Hacking vandalism on certain pages 24.35%. Book vandalism that is not returned, vandalism marking sentences with 4.35% coloring. Vandalism wrote a book margin of 1.74%. Vandalism in the type of image cutting, page cutting, etc. was not found in vandalism, so the percentage was 0%. OPTIMALISASI PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI SENAYAN LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SLiMS) PADA PERPUSTAKAAN PERGURUAN TINGGI DI KOTA PEKANBARU Fitriyana, Fitriyana Hakim, Triono Dul Latiar, Hadira Optimization Utilization of SLiMS University Libraries The purpose of this study was to determine the optimization of the utilization of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) application in the library in Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is qualitative. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which is sampling intentionally based on officers who are directly involved with the required sample requirements. The results of the study indicate that from several indicators that have been determined, the utilization of the SLiMS application cannot be said to be optimal because the features in the SLiMS application have not been fully utilized. Unilak Library UPT does not take advantage of two features, namely the Inventory feature and serial publication control feature, while the UMRI Library UPT has utilized all the features but there are still some sub-features that are not utilized. Utilization of existing features in the SLiMS application at UPT UMRI Library and UPT Unilak Library is based on the needs and policies of the Library. ANALISIS SUBJEK KOLEKSI PERPUSTAKAAN DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS LANCANG KUNING Bintari, Bella Rismayeti, Rismayeti Latiar, Hadira Subject Library Material Processing Library Collection Lancang Kuning University The title of this research is the analysis of the subject of library collections at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Lancang Kuning University Library. The purpose of this study was to determine how the subject analysis in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Lancang Kuning University Library. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 867 collection titles in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Lancang Kuning University Library. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The results showed that from a total of 867 collections, a small part (7%) of collection subjects were in accordance with the principle of determining the subject specifically and directly, then out of a total of 867 collection titles, a small part (7%) of collection subjects were in accordance with the usability principle, then from a total of 867 the title of the collection a small part (6%) of the subject of the collection is in accordance with the principle of uniformity, then from a total of 867 titles of the collection a small part (4%) of the subject of the collection is in accordance with the principle of subdivision of physical form, then from a total of 867 titles of the collection a small part (3%) of the subject of the collection in accordance with the principle of a specific topic or aspect, then out of a total of 867 collection titles, a small portion (1%) of the subject of the collection is in accordance with the principle of geographical subdivision, then the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Lancang Kuning University Library does not apply a collection of chronological subdivisions, further from a total of 84 the title of the collection there are 19 collections on the principle of biography a small part (23%) subj oak collections are in accordance with biographical principles, then out of a total of 175 collection titles there are 38 collections on the principles of language and literature, a small portion (22%) of collection subjects according to the principles of language and literature. KETERSEDIAN KOLEKSI MUATAN LOKAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN LITERASI INFORMASI MASYARAKAT TENTANG KEARIFAN LOKAL DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KOTA PADANG PANJANG Martinus, Sri Wulandari Availability of collections collection of local content information literacy community local wisdom The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the availability of collections local content in increasing public information literacy about wisdom local at the Padang Panjang City Library and Archives Service; (2) obstacles in improving public information literacy about local wisdom in the Dinas Padang Panjang City Library and Archives; and (3) efforts in improving public information literacy about local wisdom in the Dinas Padang Panjang City Library and Archives. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation. Research data was obtained from the results of an interview with the Head of the Library Service and Assistant Service Staff Padang Panjang City Library and Archives. The results of this study are as follows. First, in doing availability of local library collections pay attention to indicators availability of library collections including. (1) relevance, availability collection of local content in the library is relevant to the related user needs collection of local content; (2) user-oriented, collection availability local content in the library related to the information needs of users; (3) completeness of collections, completeness of local content collections in the library is still not complete because it only exists in printed form; (4) the ratio of titles, users and field specialist. The ratio between the titles of local content collections in the library and current users is still limited; (5) does not conflict with politics, ideology, religion or belief, race, or class. Availability of local content collection what is in the library does not conflict with politics, ideology, religion as well as existing races and groups; (6) scientific objects, collection availability local content in the library is adjusted to the vision and mission of the parent institution to achieve goals and objectives. Second, the City Library and Archives Service Padang Panjang has obstacles, namely: (1) lack of librarians functional in carrying out coaching activities; (2) users looking for local content collection is still very limited; (3) lack of active community participation. Library services, which were initially carried out in person or on the spot, were turned into online services to facilitate and provide convenience for users and librarians. Librarians are expected to be more creative in creating new innovations in providing online services to users. Librarians must still be able to provide excellent service to users even with various existing limitations, both librarians, infrastructure, and library collections. In the midst of the limitations of excellent service, the librarian is the key to this excellent service. Librarians must have a brand. How the librarian shows brand personality, brand-ability, brand value, and has a stimulus that produces positive perceptions. The brand of personality to build is one that is friendly, cooperative, forgiving, understanding, and good on good terms with other people. Librarians must also hone their brand personality in terms of being systematic, careful, thorough, responsible, and disciplined. Librarians should also have less negative emotionality, so that they are relatively balanced, calm, steadfast, and feel safe. Librarians must be sociable, articulate, assertive, and open to new relationships. besides that the librarian must have a high, to listen to new ideas and change ideas. The brand of librarian abilities that must be built is solving problems systematically, being able to find and finding creative and original ideas, managing people, coordinating with other people or teamwork, regulating and controlling emotions, being able to draw decisions, under any conditions, have a service or service orientation, negotiate, have cognitive flexibility or are able to think spontaneously in response to adjusting to situational needs. The librarian's brand value that must be built is the value of integrity and leadership. In terms of integrity, librarians must value honesty in speaking and acting; be able to balance/be consistent between thoughts, words, and actions; fair in treating others; have a high dedication to the institution; can always be trusted in carrying out the mandate and carrying out daily tasks. TINGKAT KEPUASAN PEMUSTAKA DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KOTA SOLOK: ANALISIS LIBQUAL+TM pratiwi, Cherly satisfaction libqual library This study discusses the level of user satisfaction of the Solok City Library and Archives Service which was analyzed using Libqual+Tm. Libqual+Tm. Consists of three dimensions, namely affect of service, information control and library as place. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of user satisfaction at the Solok City Library and Archives Service. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. The research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to the users of the Solok City Library and Archives Service as a population. Sampling from the study using incidental sampling technique and obtained a sample of 50 people. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) based on the dimensions of the officer's performance in serving (affect of service) the users felt quite satisfied with the Adequacy Gap (AG) the dimension was positive with a score of 0.05 and the level of user satisfaction with the library was considered very satisfied. with the Superiority Gap (SG) is positive with a score of 0.52; (2) based on the dimensions of information quality and access to information (information control) the users are not satisfied with the Adequacy Gap (AG), the dimension is negative with a score of -0.20 and the level of user satisfaction with the library is considered very satisfied with the Superiority Gap (SG) is positive with score 0.25; (3) based on the dimensions of library facilities and infrastructure (library as place) the users are quite satisfied with the Adequacy Gap (AG) with a value dimension of 0.013 and the level of user satisfaction with the library is considered very satisfied with the Superiority Gap (SG) with a positive value with a score of 0.50 . Overall, the level of user satisfaction, the level of satisfaction of the users of the Library and Archives Service of Solok City, the users are quite satisfied with the average Adequacy Gap (AG) is positive with a score of 0.08 and the level of user satisfaction with the library is considered very satisfied with the average Superiority (SG). positive value with a score of 0.4. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method with observation data collection techniques, literature studies and interviews with informants consisting of one librarian at SMPN 3 Jampangtengah. The results showed that the processing of library materials at SMPN 3 Jampangtengah is still conventional, therefore it is necessary to use SLiMS in processing library materials, especially in cataloging in order to make it easier to retrieve information and also store library material data in the SLiMS application. especially cataloging is very important in information retrieval in libraries, using SLiMS will make it easier to catalog and retrieve information efficiently. PERILAKU PENCARIAN INFORMASI SISWA DALAM MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JARAK JAUH DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 Syailah Nurthoyyibah, Mindy Agustina, Susanti literacy learning problems the covid-19 pandemic information behavior school library The pandemic Covid-19 has impact most  of human activities, one of them is education. The implementation of distance learning has influence for the parents, teachers, and students who are the main subjects in education, as though increased stress, less of competency development,  or technical learning problems related to fulfill information needs. In case the  problems abandoned, it will hinder the students-development, the development of sustainable education, and the progress of the nation. This research aims to determine the information behavior of students of SMAN 1 Cicalengka in overcome learning constraints during the pandemic  Covid-19. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques is using triangulation data, through observation/surveys, interviews, and literature study. The population were all students of SMAN 1 Cicalengka with 5 informants. It uses the Ohotshi-Gottschalg-Duque information-behavior model as conceptual framework. The results showed that: First, students information needs were at the concious, visceral, and adapted levels; Second, information needs are mostly related with learning materials, motivation, health, hobbies, college even job vacancies; Third, students information behavior based on habits and intuitions, most of students do not understand the process of extracting because they do not recognize the domain of the information need. The implication that learning based on library is necessity at the level of educational unit that collaborates between teachers and school librarians. Not spared from it are museums and libraries. Therefore, it is considered important formuseums and libraries to always be connected and take collaborative action. The concept of collaborationis often carried with various terms such as GLAM which stands for gallery, library, archive, and museum or LAM or library, archive, and museum. To finalize the concept of cooperation and collaboration betweenmemory institutions or information institutions, further research is needed from academics who specifically examine the relationship between museums and libraries. How they collaborate and what makes the benefits can be felt by both parties. The research carried out can take advantage of current technology that can be accessed for free and easily, namely Google Scholar. This research will continue several other studies regarding thematic analysis of articles contained in Google Scholar. The applications used are Publish or Perish and VOSviewer which will be used as a means of visualizing data and analyzing themes. The research method used is qualitative with a thematic analysis approach. The results obtained, articles about museums and libraries on Google Scholar have related terms, such as “library”, “museum”, “manuscript”, “archive”, “manuscript”, and “collection”. There are 53 authors that appear in VOSviewer, and after manually searching and retrieving the top three articles, these names appear in the visualization. One of the services that must be provided in the library is a catalog service. A service that makes it easier for users to find the collection they need in addition to asking a reference service. The catalog has three objects as mentioned by Cutter, namely the find function, the collect function, and the select function. In addition, the existence of a catalog can facilitate librarians in the collection development process. Therefore, a catalog should be in every library. The purpose of writing is to find out whether the use of catalogs in the intended library has been effective? Has the library implemented a catalog service? Is the SLiMS application in the Library effective to use? The author uses qualitative research methods so that the results obtained can be in accordance with the facts that appear and are seen when researchers observe the state of the object, namely the Sindanglaya Small Library. IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM WISATA EDUKASI DALAM MENUMBUHKAN LITERASI MASYARAKAT DI TAMAN BACA MUTIARA HATI KOTA BUKITTINGGI Sri Rejeki, Ayu Desriyeni, Desriyeni Mutiara Hati Reading Park Implementation of Educational Tourist Programs Public Literacy This study aims to describe the efforts of Mutiara Hati Reading Park, the implementation of educational tourism programs, and the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of educational tourism programs in growing public literacy in Mutiara Hati Reading Park, Bukittinggi City. The sample was conducted by purposive sampling method. Collecting data was conducted by from observations, interviews, and documentation.This data analysis technique was carried out in three steps through data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the efforts made by Mutiara Hati TBM in fostering community literacy include providing a diverse collection of reading materials, providing comfortable reading rooms, holding interesting programs, documenting all types of activities and uploading them to youtube, in collaboration with the government. and service, providing good service to visitors; (2) the implementation of the educational tourism program to foster community literacy consists of learning English with native speakers, learning to write poetry, short stories, and books, storytelling, learning about plants, visiting kindergartens and elementary schools in Bukittinggi City, watching videos and has been implemented properly discussed in 2 aspects, namely the process and objectives, which include the effects that occur on society and the level of change in society ; (3) supporting factors in implementing educational tourism programs to foster community literacy include support from the Bukittinggi city government, social donations from the Library Service and the Office for the Protection of Women and Children, the existence of reading garden volunteers, support from the local community, the existence of support from literacy activists in the city of Bukittinggi, support from the media or the press, natural conditions and the beauty of a unique reading garden. The inhibiting factors include the uneducational mindset of the community, lack of supporting facilities, the lack of a reading garden volunteer personnel, the location of the reading park on the outskirts of the city, the pandemic situation, the narrow reading park area, the timing of activities that clash with the work schedule and school. DINAMIKA LITERASI INFORMASI POLITIK DI KALANGAN AKTIVIS MAHASISWA ISLAM Makmur, Testiani Samsudin, Dafrizal Literacy Information Literacy Politics, Students Student organizations This study aims to determine the profile of student political literacy among student organizations PMII, HMI and KAMMI at UIN Sulthan Thaha Jambi. A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews, observations and literature studies was carried out to obtain informant data from each student organization consisting of the General Chair, Deputy Chair of the advocacy section, Secretary General, Action Coordinator.This study shows that being an Islamic student activist is driven by personal internal factors such as a sense of conformity with the ideology and spirit of Islamic da'wah, personal self-awareness and a critical attitude. External factors such as the influence of seniors and a positive image of student organizations. Sources of student political information are conventional media, new media such as websites and social media, discussion forums and experts. The search for political information is driven by the need for political information, leadership spirit, political awareness and interest in understanding the good/bad world of politics. Evaluation of each political information is carried out by comparison of sources and discussion. Political information is useful for students to meet the information needs and discussion material of their peers. Synergy between students, higher education institutions and student organizations is an important factor in increasing political information literacy among students. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There are 2 informants in this study, namely primary informants and secondary informants. The main informants in this study were 5 people with details, two librarians, the Head of the Mobile Library Service Section, the Head of the Library Division, and the Secretary of the Padang Pariaman Regency Archives and Library Service. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. This study used validation techniques which included extended participation, persistence of observation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that services (1) as a result of the covid 19 pandemic mobile libraries cannot operate as they should so that there are several new policies that change mobile library services such as; mobile library services no longer make visits to nagari, currently mobile libraries only go to school as the focus of their services; Mobile library collections can no longer be loaned, but users can only read the collections on the spot. (2) there is no development in the implementation of mobile library services in the new normal. The implementation of mobile library services is still carrying out services like during the pandemic. (3) the need for a solution to the problem of mobile library services during the pandemic delivered by the librarian, namely re-establishing mobile library services to villages and carrying out social inclusion, as well as making changes in library collections. The purpose of this study was to describe the context, content, communication, and connection of Instagram at the Library and Archives Service of 50 Kota Regency as a promotional media. This is a qualitative study that uses the descriptive method. Interviewing, observation, and documenting procedures are used to obtain data. Based on research findings and discussion, it shows that library promotion through social media Instagram has fulfilled two of the four elements used. The elements that are met are the application of communication and connection. Based on the research results the application of context or message content seen from the clarity and completeness of the message is not yet persuasive. The application of content or message packaging has not been running effectively, it can be seen from the uploaded content that is less varied and the appearance of the feed on the @perpustakaandaerah50k account is less attractive. The application of communication or interaction between the @perpustakaandaerah50k admin and followers has been going well, as can be seen from the comments and direct messages which were responded positively by the admin. And the application of the connection is also going well, as can be seen from the use of the hashtag feature in promotions through Instagram social media, making it easier for followers to get information. IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM INOVASI PERPUSTAKAAN MELALUI POJOK BACA INSTAGRAMABLE DI UPT PERPUSTAKAAN PROKLAMATOR BUNG HATTA BUKITTINGGI Kurnia Nelisa, Malta Innovation Reading Corner Instagrammable This study aims to describe the implementation of Proklamator Bung Hatta’s library Unit Bukittinggi innovation program in improving library services and increasing interest in visiting users through the provision of a lesehan reading area, namely an instagrammable reading corner. Sampling in this study was conducted by purposive sampling method. Data was collected by means of interviews and documentation. This data analysis technique was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the instagrammable reading corner at the Proklamator Bung Hatta’s Library Unit Bukittinggi has implemented an element of novelty because it has provided a different reading area than before; (2) the instagrammable reading corner at the Proklamator Bung Hatta’s Library Unit Bukittinggi has implemented an effective element because the purpose of making the reading area can be carried out properly as long as the instagrammable reading corner is established. (3) the instagrammable reading corner at the Proklamator Bung Hatta’s Library Unit Bukittinggi has implemented an element of usefulness because the reading corner has been able to provide great benefits for users compared to the previous reading area. (4) Instagrammable reading corner at Proklamator Bung Hatta’s Library Bukittinggi has implemented transferable or replicable elements because the indicators from the reading corner are unique and interesting so that they can be recommended for other agencies who want to create reading corners. ANALISIS SITIRAN DAN KETERSEDIAAN SKRIPSI PROGRAM STUDI SASTRA INDONESIA TAHUN 2019-2021 DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG Fuad, Ahmad Ramasya Ardoni, Ardoni citation analysis Padang State University Thesis The limited collection as a source of information in compiling a research framework is a problem that is often faced by students, so the library must evaluate the collection to find out how the collection is used by the user. There are several methods that can be used to evaluate library collections, one of which is to use citation analysis. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of literature based on type, language of instruction, author, title, and half life) and its availability in the UNP Library. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The population in this study were 105 Indonesian Literature UNP students' thesis for 2019 - 2021 and the sample used was 40 theses. The instrument in this study was the use of collection recording tables. Data collection was carried out using the documentation method through a list of citation data fields. Data analysis used the percentage formula and interpreted with percentage criteria then made a cumulative frequency distribution table and then calculated the half life of the literature. Minangkabau Corner's service is to develop Minang culture and advance Andalas University in making Minangkabau Corner a center that includes Minang culture itself. Meanwhile, according to Febrin Anas Ismail, the purpose and function of the Minangkabau Cornerini service itself is to disseminate information on Minang culture in printed/digital form, one of which is shown to Minang people who are wandering. It can be concluded that the Minangkabau Cornerini service itself has the purpose and function of the Minangkabau Cornerini service itself to preserve Minang cultural collections, whether in printed or digital form, as well as treat ancient manuscripts. In 2021 almost the whole world faces an economic downturn and causes a very deep contraction as almost all countries carry out strict mobility restrictions. In Indonesia itself, the economy has deteriorated starting in the second quarter (Q2) 2020. Then in the following periods it can start to rise, starting from the second quarter of 2021, which turned positive at 7.07% of the impact of investment and an increase in household consumption. It turns out that the MSME sector has a very significant and strategic role to support these improvements and even in the future it is predicted that it will continue to move as an engine of economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. It should also be noted that the positive contribution brought by MSMEs will be able to save the economy from conditions of lack of certainty. In order to strengthen this, support and various ideas, innovation and collaboration from various parties are needed so that MSMEs can get out of pressure and support economic growth. Therefore, this study wishes to contribute by looking at the potential for adopting and implementing social media strategies and digital literacy skills and information literacy implemented in various Siger Innovation start-up programs and activities in supporting MSMEs in contributing to economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. 19, especially for Lampung Province. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach in order to present a detailed description of the setting and literacy skills for MSME actors. Efforts to improve the digital skills of the community, especially the younger generation, have begun to minimize negative content that has flooded the digital space. The Covid-19 pandemic The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation in Indonesia. This study aims to describe and measure the level of digital literacy among vocational students in the pandemic era. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The object that became the research target were all active students of the Vocational Faculty, Airlangga University. The sampling method in this study used purposive random sampling. Data collection in this study used a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires. The data extracted to determine the level of digital literacy of students includes technology, ethics and cognitive. The data obtained were then analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that students' digital literacy skills were in the high category. Regarding the online learning format for vocational education, research findings mention the need for digital literacy education for students. The results of the research can be used as recommendations to improve the quality of vocational education with online/online formats and materials for making digital literacy education modules for students. The library as an institution that stores various information and knowledge, and the community, as information consumers, requires its existence, of course, expects that the library can store and share information and knowledge as needed. This is a challenge for library managers how information in the form of books, print or digital media can last a long time and not lose information or knowledge even though it has been a long time. Based on the above, the writer tries to write about the collection preservation action at the Goethe-Institut Bandung Library. The author employs a qualitative research methodology.Using a descriptive approach and gathering data techniques are carried out through the results of web analysis and literature studies. Besides that, the writer also uses interview, observation, and observation techniques, which are compiled to become a conclusion. The purpose of this study is to determine how far the preservation measures are carried out by the Goethe-Institut Bandung Library and what is being done in processing the library to ensure that the collection is safe from various factors. In relation to the issue of preservation interests, there are three terms that must be understood in terms of scope and differences in importance between the three, namely: preservation , conservation and restoration. Preservation is closely related to collection policy and dealing with preservation on a large scale is unlikely to be successful and can be developed without a clear statement of purpose. This research is descriptive qualitative, which describes the facts and data collected and arranged in sentences. The data used are primary and secondary data. In addition, there are 3 data collection techniques in this study, namely: 1. observation, namely observing to collect data by looking directly at it, 2. Interviewing with specified informants 3. Documentation. Data analysis was carried out systematically, namely reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. This study shows that the cause of damage to library materials at the UPT Library of IAIN Curup, the first from internal factors, namely the quality of the paper is not good. The second is from external factors, namely damage caused by insects, dust, air temperature and humidity, light, chemicals, humans. How to overcome damage to library materials at the UPT Library of IAIN Curup, One factor is caused by internal factors, taking backup books, discarding damaged pages and photocopies of the reservoir book and then repairing it and serving it again. the two external factors, namely: insects, the librarian simply gives camphor in between books and bookshelves. Dust, the librarian put a doormat at every entrance and dusted the bookshelves with sprays and covers. Temperature and humidity damage from temperature and humidity, librarians simply move bookshelves that are too close to the wall. Light, the librarian simply moves the book to a place that is not exposed to sunlight. chemistry by preparing a backup book. PERSEPSI GURU DAN PUSTAKAWAN SLB NEGERI 1 SUNGAI PAGU TERHADAP DEPRIVASI INFORMASI BAGI SISWA TULI Farid Hidayat literacy information deprivation education library This study aims to explain the views or perceptions of teachers and librarians as well as the responses of Deaf students at SLB Negeri 1 Sungai Pagu to the deprivation of information access. The type of this research is qualitative using descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. These data were obtained from filling out questionnaires to six respondents at random and the results of interviews with school principals, librarians, teachers who had served as librarians, and six Deaf students from various levels. The results obtained are that some teachers at SLB Negeri 1 Sungai Pagu only understand this problem after receiving a simple explanation and in practice, the application of ethics to interacting with Deaf students is not optimal. In perception the librarian actually understands this problem, but she finds it difficult to overcome information deprivation because of the limited collection, access and facilities available in the library space. Based on the point of view of Deaf students, the lack of references to Deaf culture greatly impacts the low level of information absorption among Deaf students themselves. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were the Coordinators and all One Stop Service (PTSP) officers at UPT Andalas University, totaling 9 people. The instruments used in this study used observation guidelines, questionnaire guidelines, and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis requirements test in this study is the instrument test, the classical assumption test and the hypothesis test. The steps to analyze the data are data collection, editing, coding, tabulating data, testing data quality, describing data and testing hypotheses. The results of the research show that communication, resources, position have no effect on policy implementation. While bureaucratic structure influences policy implementation, communication, resources, position and bureaucratic structure together show a large influence on policy implementation. From this account the researcher collected uploads published by @perpusuinyogyakarta during January-December 2021. The purpose of this study was to find out what content was uploaded by the @perpusuinyogyakarta account and how the mapping of the Instagram account @perpusuinyogyakarta during January - December 2021 and what percentage. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 433 posts uploaded during January-December 2021 (1 year). Data collection techniques are observation and documentation study. The results showed that out of 433 posts of informational content and five indicators of library Instagram content, namely event indicators, internal indicators, speech indicators, library information indicators, and knowledge indicators. The purpose of this study was to find out the concept and meaning of the library contained in the lyrics of the song "Library of the Streets" by Senartogok. The research method uses a qualitative approach, as well as data collection through observation and overall observation of the research object, namely the lyrics of the song "Library of the Streets". Descriptive data analysis with Roland Barthes's semiotic theory analysis. The results of the study show that the lyrics of the song Senartogok provides a form of attitude and criticism regarding how the culture of reading nowadays has begun to be pushed aside by instant information media, such as TV and social media, where the street library points directly at reading sources in open spaces. Media, where books can be presented without any restrictions, is a true remedy for human alienation due to technological developments. The street library that was established has provided a unique warmth, such as the combination of urban flow with the excitement of the desire to open space. IMPLEMENTASI LAYANAN VIRTUAL AKIBAT COVID-19 TERHADAP PUSTAKAWAN DAN PEMUSTAKA DI PERPUSTAKAAN POLITEKNIK NEGERI PADANG Ratnawati, Ratnawati service implementation COVID-19 positive impact negative impact and productivity of librarian performance This study aims to see the effect of virtual service implementation on librarians and users at the Padang State Polytechnic Library. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through three paths: reduction, presentation of data and then drawing conclusions. The data were obtained from 5 informants from librarians and 5 informants from users. The parameters observed were the positive impact of virtual services on librarians and library users, the negative impact of virtual services on librarians and users, the obstacles encountered while running virtual services, and the productivity of librarians during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the positive impact of virtual services for librarians is that they can provide a sense of security while working, because they do not interact directly with users so that it is possible to prevent transmission and increase in cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, the positive impact for users is that virtual account services create comfortable conditions from the risk of contracting Covid-19 and are more free to enjoy library digitization implemented at the Padang State Polytechnic Library. The negative impact of virtual services felt by librarians is the difficulty in carrying out work due to limited mastery of technology, especially for librarians who are elderly. while the negative impact felt by users is that there are economic limitations to buying internet quota and internet access which is hard to come by. The obstacle faced by librarians is the lack of knowledge about using applications and technology that makes them work long hours, bored and lazy as a result they cannot finish work easily, while the obstacle faced by users is limited internet access at their place of residence. The productivity of librarian performance during the COVID-19 pandemic was that 4 of the informants stated that it had decreased because they could not do the job thoroughly, while 1 of the informants stated that it had increased. AI can be used to speed up the process of finding information by users and making recommendations for collections of relevant library materials. This research will discuss how AI can be used in libraries, including the implementation of virtual reality, chatbots, voice recognition systems, robotics, and analysis systems. We will also cover documentation of implementing AI in other areas that have opportunities for implementation in libraries. The type of this research is qualitative using descriptive methods. Data sources were obtained from books, journals, activity reports, and websites that match the topic of the problem. This study found several examples of AI implementation in libraries, both those that have been done and those that have never been done and will be the future of libraries. PRESERVASI PENGETAHUAN UPACARA TRADISI TINGKEBAN MASYARAKAT JAWA TRANSMIGRASI DI SITIUNG 2 KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA SUMATERA BARAT Shinta Aprilya Ningrum Desriyeni, Desriyeni Knowledge Preservation Local Knowledge Tingkeban This study aims to describe the meaning of traditional ceremonies tingkeban, tools and materials used in the tingkeban traditional ceremony, tingkeban traditional ceremonial procession; and ceremonial knowledge preservation activities the tingkeban tradition of the Javanese transmigration community in Sitiung 2 District Dharmasraya, West Sumatra. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data validation technique using triangulation, namely data source triangulation, theory triangulation, and method triangulation.The data validation technique uses the Miles and Hubermen models consisting of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are as follows. First, the traditional ceremony tingkeban Jawa transmigration has a very important meaning in life, namely as a means of praying so that the baby and mother are healthy and safe, as a rejection of reinforcements, a gathering place for neighbors, relatives and friends surrounding communities, strengthen brotherhood, and preserve traditional ceremonies brought by the ancestors. Third, the series of processions that are carried out are sacred rituals and full of meaning. Fourth, knowledge preservation activities carried out namely socialization and externalization. Socialization activities are carried out with face-to-face direct delivery, imitation, and delivery through the medium of wayang. Outreach activities become easier because the community already has awareness to carry out traditional ceremonies tingkeban. In addition, externalization activities in the preservation of ceremonial knowledge the tingkeban tradition is carried out by documenting it in the form of books, videos, articles and journals. In externalization activities, the community is still minimal accessing information and knowledge from tingkeban traditional ceremony documents. Pustakalana Children's Library created a program that focuses on reading aloud. A quality children's reading collection is needed to help children increase their interest in reading. Likewise, the role of librarians and parents who read aloud the collection. This study aims to look at the phenomenon of utilizing children's collections at Pustakalana for reading-aloud activities. The research method used is a qualitative case study method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, shows that reading is very important in children's lives because reading activities can form imagination patterns, and gain knowledge to activate children's creativity. Doing the read-aloud method to children can accelerate the development of their way of thinking to be more critical. Pustakalana facilitates read-aloud activities to improve children's reading and creativity through papercraft-making activities. However, the role of parents as role models for children in the family environment is also very important. Parents should set a good example by reading books out loud to their children. Reading regularly is the key to the success of this reading method. One of the purposes of mobile library services is to provide information and science services more closely. The Regional Public Library and Archives Office of Sumedang Regency is a government facility as a service to the community, which aims to provide sources of information materials in the form of reading books and other archives. The methods used in this study are descriptive survey methods and literature studies. The descriptive method is a method that seeks to solve or answer the problems faced in the current situation. Based on the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the quality of mobile library services at the Archives and Library Office has not been effective and efficient in meeting the needs of the community. The quality of service from the tangible aspect is the condition of the vehicle that only has 1 functioning so it is difficult to reach many areas. The quality of service from the aspect of reliability, namely scheduling in mobile library services, has not been well scheduled. Even for routine schedules have not been implemented. The quality of service from the aspect of responsiveness is that the service of librarians is not good because it does not quickly respond to the needs of visitors and cannot help visitors who have difficulty finding books optimally. The quality of service from the assurance aspect, namely the officers have not been friendly and polite, the officers have not been able to answer questions asked by visitors, and there has been no rearrangement of what book collections need to be fulfilled if making a tour visit with the aim of meeting the information needs of the people of Sumedang. The quality of service from the emphaty aspect is that officers have not been able to manage tools in the library. This research method is qualitative. The data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out systematically, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that the majority of teachers already use information literacy when searching for information through the Google search engine. The eight stages of empowering eight that have not been mastered are the stages of identification, exploration, and creation. While the obstacles faced by the teacher when searching for information, namely the internet network connection at MIN 10 Blitar is still hampered and not optimal, the teacher has to repeat keywords when searching for information, the teacher does not care about the type of information source and has not included the bibliography. ANALISIS PEMETAAN KONDISI TAMAN BACAAN MASYARAKAT (TBM) DI KOTA PEKANBARU Sari, Fadilah Sudiar, Nining Amelia, Vita Mapping condition The conditions of libraries in urban areas and universities are very different from the conditions in the Community Reading Gardens (TBM) which are currently also developing and increasing in Pekanbaru City, however amid the development of  TBM in Pekanbaru City there are still many TBM that do not yet have library collection standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, personnel standards, organizational standards, and management standards. Of the 36 Community Reading Gardens (TBMs) in Pekanbaru City, it is not yet clearly known what the condition is, both the condition of the collection and the condition of the infrastructure. So it is necessary to conduct further research related to the condition of the TBM in Pekanbaru City. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was done by observation, interview and documentation. Based on the results and discussion, it is found that only 11 TBMs are active with the dominant condition of TBMs already having a vision, mission and purpose of its establishment, judging from the target of its establishment, the average TBM has not determined who is the target of the establishment of TBMs. While in terms of human resources, the average TBM already has more than 3 administrators. Overall TBMs have provided reading services and on average TBMs have provided lending services. In terms of facilities, there are still minimal TBMs that provide decent facilities for their users. Activity programs provided by TBMs vary such as reading, drawing, coloring, book review and others. While promotional activities, the average TBM already has a social media account as a promotional tool. And in terms of cooperation, all TBMs have collaborated with organizations, communities, government agencies, and others. It also seeks to identify the impacts and challenges encountered during the implementation of this collaboration. The research method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative research. Data were gathered through observations and interviews with the library managers. The collected data were analyzed to comprehend the dynamics of the collaboration and the implementation of collection development principles. The findings of the research reveal that the UPI Library has not fully applied the principles of collection development in the services provided by the Korean-Indonesian Cultural Corner (KICC). One of the major challenges identified is the lack of effective communication between the UPI Library and KICC. This has resulted in discrepancies in the stages of collection development and a limited understanding of collection priorities. The impact of these challenges is a less efficient and effective collection development process. Therefore, to maximize the outcomes of this collaboration, efforts are needed to expand and enhance communication between the UPI Library and KICC. This will assist in understanding the needs and expectations of each party, enabling a more efficient implementation of collection development stages. Additionally, regular evaluations should be an integral part of this collaboration to ensure the expected impacts are achieved. Thisl study aims to determinel the quality ofl the library website, the level of ease of library website users and to determine the effect of the quality of the library website on the ease of users at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Pontianak. The method used quantitative approach. The population is all active students of Poltekkes Kemenkes Pontianak which amounts to 568 people. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula which yielded 85 respondents. Data collection methods through documentation and questionnaires. Data measurement in this study used Likert scale. The validity test used Pearson Correlation while the reliability test used Alpha Cronbach with 30 samples. The datal analysis techniquel uses thel mean formulal followed byl the grandl mean formulalof the whole laverage. Test the hypothesis using a simple linear regression test and a correlation test using the product moment. The quality of the website produces a value of 4.01 which is at a good level while the ease of users produces 4.40 which is at a very easy level which shows that the quality of the library website has a positive and significant effect on the ease of users of the Poltekkes Library website of the Ministry of Health Pontianak. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling with research informants as  many as 5 (five) people. Data collection techniques through primary data collection techniques such as observation and interviews, secondary data collection techniques such as literature studies and documentation. In analyzing the data used Hasibuan model with steps: Data reduction, data presentation, Conclution drawing/ferification, and Triangulation. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that librarian Development at the Regional Archives and Library Office of Sumedang Regency is still not optimal, because the benchmark development methods in the aspects of quality and quantity of librarian work are still low, the level of librarian discipline is still lacking, the effectiveness and efficiency of librarian work is still lacking, and the target has not been met. PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PENGELOLA ARSIP DENGAN KEAHLIAN DOKUMEN FORENSIK Fachmi, Achmad Records Managers Competence This research examines the increase in the capacity of record managers in organizations, and this is because the record management profession has a strategic role in the organization, thus making record managers a profession that is vulnerable to legal problems because it is directly related to valid evidence, namely records. For this reason, it is necessary to increase competence, one of which is competence in forensic documents. This competency is closely related and becomes a distinct advantage for record managers because document forensic activities examine and involve the record itself. The method used in this research is a literature study using reference sources of articles in journals, books, laws, and literature on websites. Literature sources are used to develop critical thinking and aspects related to increasing the competency of record managers with forensic document expertise. The results of the discussion show that record managers must improve their capabilities and abilities due to the demands of the times and their role and involvement in legal matters within the organization. Increasing competence has an impact on increasing the welfare and value of record managers. For this reason, a new framework is needed for the record management profession, namely the competency of forensic documents. This competency is very closely related because forensic document competency is an activity that examines and involves the record itself. The aim of this research is to determine user information needs by carrying out user needs analysis activities in the collection development process carried out by the BIG Library. The research method applied uses a case study method with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data collection was carried out by means of observation and interviews with the aim of being able to describe a case in detail and in depth, then analysis was carried out by comparing the patterns expected by researchers based on existing literature with the patterns found when conducting research. Research results: BIG Library has consistently carried out collection development activities every year with the aim of meeting the information needs of its users. The BIG Library needs an additional budget to subscribe to scientific journals. As a type of special library in Indonesia, the BIG Library needs to strengthen its repository collection to meet the needs of its users. It is necessary to carry out an in-depth analysis regarding the information needs of users. ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN KOLEKSI PEMUSTAKA DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS ATMA JAYA YOGYAKARTA Triningsih, C. Esmi Harsa Pamardi, A. Prastowo collection collection development recency suitability availability adequacy The collection needs survey is aimed at finding out what collections users need. It is hoped that the survey results can help the collection development department in procuring library materials so that the collections provided are in accordance with needs. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents using Google Form so that it was time efficient and data recapping was automatic. Respondents consisted of a total of 612 UAJY lecturers and students, all processed using SPSS 20. Quantitative descriptive data analysis and the results obtained showed that the majority of respondents visited the library once a week. This is not impossible because in the current digital era, information can be accessed easily via the internet network anytime and anywhere. The majority of users' needs for visiting the library are to do their final assignments, followed by looking for references and coursework. The types of collections that are much sought after are theses/final assignments, then e-journals, journals and e-books. Subjects that are of great interest are economics, social, political, cultural, technical, language and fiction. In terms of the recency, suitability and availability of the collection, the UAJY Library has been able to meet the expectations of users as shown by the large percentage, the recency of the collection is 82.4%, the suitability of the collection is 80.2% and the availability of the collection is 76.1%. There are suggestions for several collection subjects that need to be added and books with certain authors. Apart from that, the UAJY library needs to increase access to international journals and journal collections with subjects that suit the needs of study programs. Collection development is responsible for organizing and expanding collections in libraries. The main purpose of developing collections in university libraries is to meet the information needs of the academic community in higher education. This allowed the library to develop its collection in a planned manner. STIE SBI Yogyakarta Library, as a private university library, acts as an information institution to support the implementation of Tri Dharma of Higher Education. To meet the information needs of users, the library must conduct collection development and formulate policies related to collection development. This research explores the stages of the collection development process at the STIE SBI Library and provides suggestions regarding collection development policies. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and literature review. The results showed that the stages in the collection development process at the STIE SBI Yogyakarta Library are simple and have not been supported by a written collection development policy. In addition, other obstacles faced by the library include the limited number of librarians and budget. This condition is an obstacle in the implementation of collection development activities. Artificial Intelligence originally started in 1942 when the American science fiction writer Isaac Asimov then included AI in his book entitled Runaround which then told about robots. Then, in 1956 MarvinMinsky and John McCarthy began conducting research on artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence technology has become increasingly popular among the wider community, in all circles, including in the world of education. One of the products from AI which is quite popular at the moment is GPT chat which is often used in the world of education. This is because Artificial Intelligence technology makes it very easy to do work or assignments. This article will then examine using bibliometric analysis the trends in the use of Artificial Intelligence technology in the world of education. This article analyzes using the bibliometric analysis method using a database from Scopus with a research range from 2011 to 2023, with the keywords artificial intelligence, impact, and education, which then produces 1565 articles. These articles were analyzed using bibliometric methods with biblioshiny. The aim of this article is to analyze trends in the use of artificial intelligence technology in the world of education based on bibliometric analysis by observing the number of publications on this topic from year to year. It was found that from year to year research on the use of artificial intelligence in the world of education, the graph continues to increase and shows a percentage of 43.71% for the development of publications from year to year. This article is divided into several parts (1) introduction which explains each research component starting from scopus bibliometrics and biblioshiny as well as the topics studied; (2) research methods carried out using bibliometric analysis; (3) results and discussion of the bibliometric analysis; and (4) conclusions. HUBUNGAN LITERASI DIGITAL DENGAN PERILAKU KEAMANAN SIBER PADA MAHASISWA PERPUSTAKAAN DAN SAINS INFORMASI UNIVERSITAS PADJADJARAN Oktapiyadi, Wandi Saepudin, Encang Yanto, Andri Digital Literacy Cybersecurity Behavior Digital Safety Digital Competency This research aims to find the relationship between digital literacy and cybersecurity behavior among Library and Information Science students in Universitas Padjadjaran. The concept of digital literacy used in this research is based on three dimensions, including technical, cognitive and social-emotional dimensions. This study used a quantitative method with correlational approach, that attempts to analyze the relationship between two or more variables and the strength of the relationship. 75 students from classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 in the department have been selected as the target of this study with simple random sampling technique. The results of the research show that the three dimensions, namely technical, cognitive and socio-emotional dimensions, all are having a significant relationship with cybersecurity behavior. The three are also having a low level of relationship when it comes to cybersecurity behavior. Based on the results, it can be concluded that digital literacy has a significant relationship with cybersecurity behavior, despite the level of the relationship between the two are low. Which also means that a high level of digital literacy doesn’t guarantee good cybersecurity behavior either. The selection of marketing media and content that has not attracted users utilizes digital repositories and affects the user level. The method used is qualitative with non-participant observation techniques, in depth interviews. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, while data validity tests use credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL ISOLOKKAB LEWAT SMARTPHONE Fitra Ayu, Yun Digital library accessibility community literacy iSolokRegency. This research is a preliminary study that aims to understand the use of the iSolokKab application in Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. iSolokKab is a digital library available through an e-book application that can be downloaded online through the Play Store. This study aims to explore the accessibility and usability of the iSolokKab digital library in improving community knowledge, as well as identify factors that hinder its use. The data collection method involved observation and interviews with the community regarding the use of the iSolokKab application. The analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that socialization related to the availability of this digital library has not been optimal, especially in the aspect of openness. In addition, assistance from library managers is needed to facilitate a better understanding of the iSolokKab application, given that there are still technical obstacles faced by users. Factors inhibiting the use of iSolokKab include internet network problems, incomplete digital collections, eye fatigue, lack of socialization, and user ignorance in solving problems when using the application. Nevertheless, iSolokKab can be accessed through common devices such as smartphones and tablets, and requires a stable internet connection. HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI WATTPAD DENGAN MINAT BACA PADA MAHASISWA BANDUNG RAYA Karim Andike, Allifia Prijana, Prijana Yanto, Andri Reading interest application Wattpad Wattpad is a digital reading application that is quite popular in Indonesia and is used for reading and writing, but the majority of Wattpad users are readers. Seeing the reduced interest in reading that occurs in Indonesia. This research becomes relevant when the use of the Wattpad application is linked to interest in reading considering the low interest in reading in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between use of the Wattpad application and interest in reading. This research method uses a quantitative research method with the Pearson product moment correlation test using interpretation of the relationship strength table to determine the strength of the variable relationship and the rtable distribution to determine the significance between variables. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires via social media such as Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and the Wattpad reading community on Telegram. Data collection was also carried out using literature studies from previous studies on the same topic. The population of this research was UNPAD, ITB, UPI, and Tel-U students with a sample of 406 samples. The correlation test was carried out using SPSS version 23. The results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Wattpad application and interest. With a sample size of (n)=406 and α=0.05 with a confidence level of 95%, the calculated correlation coefficient on satisfaction with using Wattpad is 0.350; intensity of Wattpad use with reading relaxation 0.209; and Wattpad reading genre preference with reading stimuli 0.516. The collections contained in the Ministry of Agriculture's repository are publications from the Ministry of Agriculture, which makes the collections therein unique, specific collections and not found in other institutions. In order to realize PUSTAKA Bogor's goal of disseminating agricultural science and technology information, it is important to develop digital local content collections in the Ministry of Agriculture's repository. Collection development activities have a big influence on the service quality indicators in the library as a whole. Adapting to technological developments and the diversity of library collection media, collections in forms other than print, such as digital collections, also need to be developed in accordance with the policies set by PUSTAKA Bogor and the Ministry of Agriculture. This research aims to explain the form of implementation of collection development policies in the Ministry of Agriculture repository managed by PUSTAKA Bogor. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Determining informants in this study used a purposive sampling technique which was adapted to the research topic. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are a form of implementation of collection development in the Ministry of Agriculture repository carried out through data entry using two methods, namely the conventional method carried out by the library and the harvesting method carried out by IT. To address this issue, the government needs to implement effective mitigation measures, including providing information. This research aims to understand the role of information literacy in reducing disaster risk in the area. This research is how the ability of BPBD Karawang employees to search, evaluate and create information related to abrasion disaster mitigation in Cibuaya kec. To find out the information literacy skills of BPBD Karawang employees in improving employee information literacy in finding relevant information sources according to employee needs, so that BPBD Karawang employees can provide information and knowledge for the community in the Cibuaya area. (Method) This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type. In this context, the data was used to understand and analyze how BPBD Karawang employees use and create information about abrasion disasters, and how they evaluate the information to ensure relevance and accuracy. (Findings) This research shows that BPBD Karawang employees have good information literacy skills in searching, evaluating and creating information related to abrasion disaster mitigation. However, there are still some obstacles in managing disaster data and disseminating information through the website. Therefore, it is necessary to improve access and human resources to manage information on the website and the Prevention and Preparedness field so that the dissemination of disaster information is more effective and comprehensive. OPTIMALISASI SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA MELALUI PERANAN KNOWLEDGE SHARING DI ORGANISASI PEMBINAAN ANAK-ANAK SALMAN INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG (PAS ITB) Fadhilah Hartary Barkah Rusmana, Agus Khairul Anwar, Rully Knowledge Sharing Organization Human Resources Development of Salman's Children As a coaching or teaching organization for children, members of the organization or what are usually called PAS ITB supervisors implement knowledge sharing activities to eliminate knowledge gaps between supervisors who have various characters and different educational backgrounds. Knowledge sharing helps in increasing the competence of each individual so that optimization of human resources in the organization can be created and organizational performance can increase. The aim of this research is to find out the role of knowledge sharing in the PAS ITB organization and what the supporting and inhibiting factors are for knowledge sharing in the PAS ITB organization. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of knowledge sharing at PAS ITB includes various activities, namely work meetings, mentoring of seniors, consolidation, morning dew, evaluation, large socialization and casual discussions between PAS ITB seniors. Knowledge management is carried out in the form of sorting various information or documentation of activities via centralized links, classifying documents via Google Drive and disseminating content or information via social media. Supporting factors for knowledge sharing at PAS ITB are trust and openness, organizational culture, reciprocal relationships between senders and recipients of knowledge and support from leaders. Meanwhile, the factors inhibiting knowledge sharing at PAS ITB are lack of full involvement of organizational members, lack of maximum documentation and lack of use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). HUBUNGAN KEBUTUHAN INFORMASI SEHARI-HARI DENGAN PENGGUNAAN OPENAI CHAT GPT: SURVEI PADA MAHASISWA INDONESIA Farikasari, Nurul Prijana, Prijana Saeful Rohman, Asep OpenAI Chat GPT Daily Information Needs Students Information Search This study examines the use of OpenAI Chat GPT in information retrieval by students at six leading universities in Indonesia. This study uses a quota sampling method with 600 students from Airlangga University, Brawijaya University, Diponegoro University, Gadjah Mada University, Padjadjaran University, and UIN Sunang Gunung Djati Bandung as the research sample. Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis shows that the majority of students use OpenAI Chat GPT for academic and non-academic needs with a high level of satisfaction. There is a significant relationship between students' daily information needs and the use of OpenAI Chat GPT. Valuable and useful information is correlated with more efficient and accurate information retrieval. This study supports the new media theory which states that digital technology changes the way individuals interact with information, enabling more personal and interactive experiences. This study provides theoretical contributions to the literature on the use of AI technology in information retrieval and practical recommendations for further research development. KESESUAIAN PENULISAN ABSTRAK ARTIKEL JURNAL PADA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INDEX (SINTA) Sudiar, Nining Latiar, Hadira Monika, Winda Appropriateness of Writing Abstract Sinta Unilak This study aims to evaluate the suitability of scientific article abstract writing with the standard of abstract writing in Lancang Kuning University journals indexed by Science And Technology Index (Sinta). The research methodology is quantitative, including literature search and comparative analysis of Sinta-indexed journal abstracts. The results showed that there were 22 accredited journals with different accreditation levels, ranging from Sinta 2 to Sinta 6. All journals have writing rules or guidelines, but these rules have not been followed or obeyed properly by the authors so that there are still discrepancies in abstract writing. More than half or 78.51% of the discrepancies were caused by the use of language, then 50.12% in the use of word count and 45.30% in the use of keywords. A small proportion of discrepancies, or 12.42%, were found in writing the substance of the abstract. HUBUNGAN LITERASI MEDIA DENGAN TINGKAT AKSES KURSUS PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN ONLINE LINKEDIN LEARNING MAHASISWA FAKULTAS ILMU KOMUNIKASI NON-PASCASARJANA UNIVERSITAS PADJADJARAN Ilyas, Januar Rizal, Edwin Yanto, Andri Media Literacy Individual Competence Framework LinkedIn Learning This study aims to see if there is a relationship between media literacy and the level of access to LinkedIn Learning courses. The concept of digital literacy used in the research is the Individual Competence Framework by the European Commission which consists of 3 indicators, namely technical usage skills, critical understanding, and communication skills. The media literacy variable is further divided into 3 (three) ability categories namely Basic, Medium, and Advanced. Similarly, the LinkedIn Learning course access variable is divided into 3 (three) levels namely “Low”, “Medium”, “High”.  The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational approach, which tries to see the relationship between two or more variables and the strength of the relationship. This research was conducted on 65 students of the Faculty of Non-Postgraduate Communication Sciences class of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023 at Padjadjaran University, who were selected based on simple random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive and inferential using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was no correlation between students' media literacy and the level of access to LinkedIn Learning online education program courses by students of the Faculty of Non-Postgraduate Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. From the three sub-variables of media literacy based on the Individual Competence Framework, namely critical understanding, and communication skills also have a significant relationship with media literacy, but the sub-variable of technical usage skills has a significant relationship with media literacy. PROGRAM TWENTY DAYS WITH YOUR BOOK DALAM MENINGKATKAN DAYA BACA MAHASISWA STUDI DESKRIPTIF PROGRAM UNIT KERJA MAHASISWA UNP Musliani, Musliani Primadesi, Yona Reading ability Reading Comprehension Twenty Days with Your Book Program This research aims to describe how the Twenty Days with Your Book   program works and to describe its benefits in increasing the reading ability of members at UKM PPIPM UNP. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Interviews, observation and documentation were research instruments used to collect data involving seven informants consisting of the person in charge of the program and participants who took part in the Twenty Days with Your Book   program. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Twenty Days with Your Book   program has been carried out in accordance with planning starting from the program concept which has been designed and implemented well, the program targets are right on target, the program implementation indicators have been achieved because they exceed 60% of their targets, the realization procedures have been carried out well. , the selection of reading materials is appropriate but needs improvement, and the evaluation process is carried out well. The benefits they felt based on changes in behavior after participating in the program showed positive changes that were visible in the way they set goals for reading, the process of selecting reading materials, increased reading comprehension, and more efficient use of time. ANALISIS TEORI RESEPSI TENTANG REPRESENTASI PERPUSTAKAAN PERGURUAN TINGGI PADA VIDEO PERESMIAN GEDUNG PUSAT INFORMASI DAN PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG Ikhsan, Risky Jumatul Prihatin, Silverius Djuni university library reception analysis representatioN UNP The development of technology and digitalization has encouraged various institutions, including university libraries, to utilize digital platforms such as YouTube as promotional tools. This study analyzes the representation of the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) library in the promotional video titled "Peresmian Gedung Pusat Informasi dan Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Padang" (Inauguration of the Information and Library Center Building of Universitas Negeri Padang) uploaded on the UNP TV YouTube channel. Using a qualitative approach, the research applies reception analysis based on Stuart Hall's encoding-decoding theory. The findings indicate that the video represents the library as a place for studying and discussion, a quiet space, with stereotypical depictions of librarians, a collection limited to books, and a sense of suspicion toward library users. The researcher concludes that this representation fails to reflect the functions of a modern library, which should also encompass social spaces, digital collections, and a friendly relationship with users. The researcher adopts a negotiated and oppositional stance on certain elements of the video, particularly regarding the portrayal of librarians, the library atmosphere, and the featured collection. PERAN PERPUSTAKAAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BACA SISWA DI SD NEGERI 1 MUARA TELADAN Efrianti, Okta Santoso, Budhi Library Role Reading Interest Students This study aims to determine the role of the library in enhancing students' reading interest at SD Negeri 1 Muara Teladan. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The informants in this study consist of librarians, teachers, and students at SD Negeri 1 Muara Teladan. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed to identify themes related to students' reading interest. The results show that the library plays a very important role in increasing students' reading interest by organizing several activities, such as accessible book lending, scheduled library visits, and literacy activities. However, challenges were identified, including low student interest in reading, insufficient budget for library facilities, and a lack of library staff. Facilities such as bookshelves, tables, and chairs need to be improved to support reading activities. Despite these challenges, students showed high enthusiasm for the activities organized by the library, highlighting the library's potential even with its limitations. With improvements in library facilities, increased budgets, and additional library staff, students' reading interest can continue to grow, positively impacting their academic achievements. The library at SD Negeri 1 Muara Teladan plays a crucial role in fostering students' reading interest, but optimizing facilities and more engaging activities are still necessary to achieve better outcomes. STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KOLEKSI DIGITAL E-LIBRARY UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH PONOROGO 'ulummi, Naza Nur Istiana, Purwani Wulansari, Ayu Digital Collections Digital Collection Development Strategy University Library This study aims to analyze the strategy of developing collections in the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo in facing the digital era. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews with E-Library librarians of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The results of the study show that University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo E-Library implements various strategies in the development of digital collections, including: (1) analysis of user needs through surveys, (2) digital resources through consortiums, grants, and independent purchases, (3) collaboration with other parties such as universities and digital platform providers, (4) utilizing various platforms and software, (5) promotion of digital collections through various channels, and (6) continuous evaluation of the collection. This study concludes that the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo has a strong commitment to developing digital collections to meet the information needs of the academic community. Despite facing challenges such as budget limitations, the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo is able to take strategic steps to ensure the availability of relevant and quality information resources. EVALUASI KUALITAS LAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN MI PERSIS 29 BANDUNG MENGGUNAKAN MODEL LIBQUAL+ Ramadhan Nadhif Firdaus Angga Hadiapurwa Yayu Wulandari Elementary Education Teacher Perception LibQUAL Service Quality School Library This research assessed the quality of library services at MI Persis 29 Bandung from the perspective of its teaching staff. Recognizing the vital role of elementary school libraries in fostering literacy and supporting the educational process, this study employed the LibQUAL+ model to understand teachers' perceptions. The methodology involved a survey administered to teachers, which gauged their minimum, desired, and perceived levels of service across three core dimensions: Affect of Service, Information Control, and Library as Place.  The investigation revealed that while the library services generally met or slightly surpassed teachers' minimum expectations in several aspects, a consistent gap existed when compared to their desired levels of service across all dimensions. Positive adequacy in areas such as basic staff friendliness and ease of locating books was noted. However, significant shortcomings were identified in achieving ideal service levels, particularly concerning the desire for more proactive and knowledgeable staff, a richer collection of diverse reading materials including up-to-date information, and a more comfortable, quiet, and inspiring library environment. Based on these findings, the study offered targeted recommendations aimed at enhancing the overall quality and responsiveness of the library services to better meet the needs of its users. LITERASI INFORMASI DALAM PERSPEKTIF LITERATUR DAN REALITAS LAPANGAN: STUDI KASUS MAHASISWA PRODI PERPUSTAKAAN DAN SAINS INFORMASI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SINJAI Amalia, Nur Syamsuddin information literacy bibliometric big six students higher education This study aims to bridge the gap between academic discourse and practical implementation in the field of information literacy by employing two main approaches: bibliometric analysis of scientific publications and assessment of students' information literacy skills using the Big Six model. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing two methods: bibliometric analysis and a descriptive survey through questionnaire distribution. The results indicate that the topic of information literacy has experienced significant growth over the past five years, with a particular focus on competency development, the role of higher education, and the application of the Big Six model in addressing digital era challenges. Concurrently, a survey of 29 students from the Library and Information Science Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai revealed a high level of competence across all Big Six indicators, with the highest score recorded in the evaluation stage. The alignment between the bibliometric findings and field data suggests that the development of information literacy theory and practice is in sync, reflecting the effectiveness of integrating information literacy within the context of higher education. Adrian personal branding librarian librarian profession self-image digital era This study aims to determine the personal branding strategy of librarians in the digital era as an effort to improve self-image, professionalism, and the good name of library institutions. In the digital era, librarians are required to be able to build personal branding in the digital era that is credible and inspiring through digital technology and social media. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing the contents of various related literature, which is integrated with Peter Montoya's personal branding theory. The results of the study confirm that personal branding can be done through having distinctive characteristics, positive personalities, having leadership, and utilizing social media as a tool for personal branding. By building a positive and authentic image, a librarian will be able to strengthen their position while improving the role and image of the library, so that they are able to compete and adapt to developments in the times and information technology and social media. KOMPETENSI PUSTAKAWAN DALAM LAYANAN REFERENSI VIRTUAL : MENYOAL PERAN PUSTAKAWAN SEBAGAI ”KNOWLEDGE WORKER” Winoto, Yunus Septian, Falih Ijlal librarian competencies virtual reference library The emergence of virtual reference services in library institutions is inseparable from the developments in information technology that have occurred in society over the last few decades. The purpose of this study is to determine librarian competencies in providing virtual reference services. Virtual reference service itself is defined as a service that utilizes information technology and various social media platforms to fulfill users' information needs, allowing them to seek information sources without having to physically visit the library. Based on the results of the study, it was revealed that librarians must possess two main competencies: 1) professional competence, such as knowledge and skills in using information technology, utilizing information sources, and accessing resources to serve users; and 2) personal competence, which relates to communication skills, attitudes, and insights possessed by reference librarians. To achieve an optimal virtual reference service, these two competencies must be an integral part of reference librarians. PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL DI KALANGAN GEN Z DAN ALPHA Hannisa, Halwa Vita Amelia Nining Sudiar Social media Usage Gen Z Alpha This study aims to analyze the habits, reasons, and impacts of social media use among generation z and alpha. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The population of this study amounted to 24,926 people consisting of generation z and alpha in Sidomulyo Barat urban village, with a sample of 394 people selected using certain sampling techniques. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the patterns, reasons, or impacts of social media use between these two generations. The most widely used types of social media are whatsapp, tiktok, and instagram. Most respondents access social media using wifi as the main connection source, and the dominant device used is a smartphone. The average length of social media use is three years, with an average access time of two hours a day. The preferred place to access social media is at home. The main reason for using social media is for entertainment, followed by the need to get information. The perceived positive impacts include the ease of communicating with friends or family, while the most commonly reported negative impacts are causing addiction and spending too much time which can interfere with productivity. HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN LITERASI INFORMASI KOSMETIKA PADA MAHASISWA DI ERA MEDIA SOSIAL : TINJAUAN LITERATUR Revila, Selvi Meidiawati, Yosi Emotional Intelligence Cosmetic Information Literacy Social Media In the current era of technological development, the use of social media among students is increasingly popular for seeking information, including about cosmetics. This study aims to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and cosmetic informatics literacy among students in the social media era. This study is included in qualitative research using literature studies. This study was conducted on research journal articles with keywords emotional intelligence and literacy. The articles analyzed have criteria consisting of; (1) Articles with publication years 2020-2025, (2) Included in national and international journals, (3) Relevant to the research topic. The research was conducted by means of literature studies. The collected data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study obtained that overall the findings of previous studies stated that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with informatics literacy. Students who have high emotional intelligence tend to be wiser and more critical in sorting cosmetic information on social media. This finding confirms that strengthening emotional intelligence can be an important step in improving students' digital literacy, especially amidst the current rapid flow of cosmetic information. ETIKA PENGGUNA DAN STRATEGI MITIGASI VANDALISME DI PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH: STUDI KASUS SMP NEGERI 2 AMPEK ANGKEK Syifa Azzahra Kristin Natalia Hutahaean Hensawaty Elviana Br Sihombing Sherly Fanny Annisa Mutiara Antika user ethics vandalism school library prevention student behavior School libraries play an important role in supporting the learning process and developing students’ literacy. However, unethical user behavior, such as vandalism of library materials, still frequently occurs and can reduce the quality of services and the comfort of other users. This study aims to analyze user ethics and the efforts to prevent and address vandalism at the Library of SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through interviews with the head librarian as the main source of information regarding user behavior and ethics. The results show that common forms of vandalism include scribbling, tearing, and removing pages from books. The contributing factors include students’ lack of awareness in maintaining collections, the unstable nature of adolescence, and a low sense of responsibility toward library facilities. The library has implemented several preventive measures, including socialization of user ethics, the application of educational sanctions, and increased supervision of collections. It can be concluded that the enforcement of strict regulations and continuous ethical guidance can improve students’ awareness in maintaining collections and reduce acts of vandalism in school libraries.
